Mr. Grimes, as Vice President, is responsible for overseeing the design and construction process, coordinating the day-to-day activities that make each project a success. As part of Meridian’s Executive Team, he is responsible for the development of new projects and works closely with clients to ensure their needs are met throughout the planning, design, and construction stages.
Mr. Grimes works with a team of Project Managers and Engineers to ensure that all aspects of each project are handled in a seamless and professional manner. He has been personally involved in the planning, development, design, construction, and successful occupancy of more than 40 projects over the span of his career. He has experience coordinating the entitlement, design, permitting, and construction phases of a diverse range of project types including build-to-suits, brownfield redevelopments, speculative industrial facilities, retail centers, educational buildings, business park developments and infrastructure projects.
Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Grimes worked in development, and construction management positions at various firms within the greater Chicagoland area.
